Sea Fishing Chichester Harbour - Half Day trips

Our half day sea fishing trips allow both beginners and competent anglers the fun of sea fishing in beautiful Chichester Harbour.

These half day trips are a great introduction to boat sea fishing!!

We have 20 square miles of estuary to fish if the sea is a little too choppy, so there is no need to worry about sea sickness!

Something Fishy can offer morning and afternoon fishing trips. Setting off from Chichester Marina, where free parking is available just a few metres from the jetty, Adam and his team can supply rods, bait and tuition if required.

What will I catch?

  • Mackerel - May to September
  • Bass - July to November
  • Smooth-hound - Mid April to late August
  • Blonde Ray - Spring and Autumn
  • Conger - May to October
  • Plaice - July to October
  • Bream - April to June
  • Tope - mid May to mid July
  • Cod and whiting - October to January

Estuary fishing

Estuary trips start in June and are offered if we consider it may be too rough to go out to sea. Best time of year to go estuary fishing is between July and August. We tend to catch bream, bass, mackerel, smoothounds within the 20 square miles of Chichester harbour.

Estuary trips are great for families and children or those who have not been on a boat trip before. There is much less chance of any sea sickness on these trips- if this is something you are prone to.

We have the following Estuary trips avaliable:
